Developing University Strategies for internationalisation in a global context - EAIE conference

Learn how to design, objectively analyse and effectively implement the most suitable internationalisation strategies for the advancement of your institution in today’s international higher education arena. Following a SWOT analysis of your strategy and an institutional evaluation, you will get the opportunity to:

  • Take part in a purposive forum for the discussion of current and future international agendas
  • Reflect on and receive advice on your own strategic priorities and their implementation
  • Receive feedback on appropriate approaches to deal with real life cases in your own university
  • Develop sound conceptual underpinnings for the advancement of your university in the international domain

The programme will be challenging and action oriented, bringing together senior academics and managers to collaborate on the development of new strategic approaches and compare institutional practices and experiences.

In addition to the intensive training, course materials, lunches, coffee breaks, and the welcome dinner are included in the course fee.

Target audience:
The course is designed for vice-rectors and international directors involved in international strategy. To gain maximum benefits from the course, institutions might consider sending both an academic and an administrator to provide a balanced perspective for course discussions and for subsequent implementation of strategies on return to the home institution.
