UK Higher Education International Unit conference - Europe: At the heart of Internationalisation

The UK Higher Education International Unit is hosting its biennial conference dedicated to European higher education developments. This year’s theme is Europe: at the heart of internationalisation, looking at the increasingly internationalised nature of European higher education and its role in a global education market. It will bring together leaders in UK, European and international higher education to discuss the trends, challenges, risks and opportunities posed by the internationalisation of European higher education.

As well as plenary sessions from leaders in European higher education covering Horizon 2020, current developments and future trends, workshop sessions will address:

• Developments in the Bologna Process
• Mobility: how national strategies impact on institutional mobility strategies
• U-multirank: does it do what it says on the tin?
• Europeanising your internationalising strategy
• International accreditation: challenge, risk and opportunity
• Non-FP7 Opportunities for UK HEIs

The conference is aimed at vice-chancellors; principals and directors of colleges of higher education; heads of international and European offices; academic registrars; and representatives of UK higher education stakeholder organisations.
